01Saturday night in Milan has its rules
Saturday night in Milan is a precise relay: it starts with aperitivo around 6:30-7 PM (here it's a ritual, not a side note), dinner at 8:30-9, out again around 11, dancing from midnight onwards. Compared to other Italian cities everything starts a bit earlier, but don't be fooled: the night still ends late.

02Ideas by type of evening
Romantic Saturday
Rooftop with a view (Ceresio 7, Radio Rooftop, Terrazza Aperol), dinner in Brera or at a Navigli bistro, walk past the illuminated Duomo or through Parco Sempione. The Romantic theme of the generator automatically composes this path.
Saturday with friends
Aperitivo on the Navigli or in Isola, shared dinner at a pizzeria or brasserie, live music at Santeria Toscana 31, Legend Club or Biko, or a night at Magazzini Generali. The Friends Night theme optimizes this combo.
Club Saturday
Quick dinner in Porta Romana or on the Navigli (pizza, sushi, ramen), drink at a cocktail bar then clubbing: Amnesia, Old Fashion, Tempio del Futuro Perduto, Volt. Use the Club Night theme to compose it.
Cultural Saturday
Evening opening exhibition at Palazzo Reale or the Triennale, dinner in Porta Venezia or Isola, after-dinner at a wine bar or at the Blue Note for a jazz set. The Romantic and First Date themes favor this mix.
03When to book
Saturday night in Milan must be booked. Restaurants in the hot areas (Brera, Navigli, Isola, Porta Venezia) fill up from 8:30 to 10:30 PM: without a reservation you risk wandering for half an hour. Concerts at mid-size venues (500-1500 seats) often sell out a few days in advance. Clubs no, but the guest list must be booked by Thursday to avoid the queue.
For last-minute tickets, the two most reliable resources in Milan are TicketOne for big concerts and Dice.fm for indie ones. For restaurants, TheFork and the venue's Instagram pages work better than a generic search.
