How to find your way among Rome events
Rome produces dozens of events every day: concerts at Circolo degli Illuminati or Monk, theater shows at Argentina, exhibitions at the Capitoline Museums or MAXXI, club nights at Largo Venue, stand-up comedy at Please Stand Up, jazz at Casa del Jazz. The difficulty isn't finding one, it's navigating an offer that changes daily and that ticket circuits (TicketOne, Ticketmaster, Dice, Eventbrite) present each in their own way.
This page gathers in a single list all events available today in Rome, sorted by start time. You'll find live music, theater, exhibitions, festivals, cabaret, DJ sets and, when in season, open-air cinema too. For every event you find the direct link to the official box office: no intermediaries, no landing pages redirecting elsewhere.

Neighborhoods and venues to watch
Historic center: the Argentina, Valle and Vittoria theaters concentrate classic prose; galleries like Palazzo Barberini and Palazzo Altemps close late on Thursday evening openings.
Trastevere and San Lorenzo: historic live club area, but today the epicenter has shifted toward Pigneto and Centocelle, with venues like Init Club, Spring Club and Monk (now at Portonaccio).
Ostiense and Garbatella: here you find the summer arenas (Caffè Letterario, Angelo Mai), Circolo degli Illuminati and the clubbing of Ex Dogana and Spazio Novecento.
Flaminio and EUR: Auditorium Parco della Musica (classical, jazz, talks), MAXXI (exhibitions and talks), Palazzo dello Sport for big concerts, Spazio Rossellini for indie cinema.
Frequently asked questions
Are events updated in real time?
Events are updated every night at 6 AM. During the day the calendar stays stable, but any program changes (sold out, cancellations) are picked up within 24 hours. To be sure of availability before heading out, always check the link to the official box office.
Why do some events have no price?
Many Roman organizers communicate prices in text form ("association contribution", "free offer", "ARCI card") rather than as a fixed amount. In those cases we show "€ –" to avoid being misleading. You'll find the real price at purchase.
Are free events included too?
Yes. Vernissages, book presentations, church concerts, events from cultural institutes (Académie de France, Goethe-Institut, Japanese Institute), summer open-air cinema: all appear in the list if they have an official page with date and time.
How can I turn an event into a complete evening?
Use the generator on the homepage: pick the budget and theme, and the algorithm adds an aperitif before and an after-dinner spot to the concert (or theater, or exhibition) - all nearby, all open that evening.
