Halloween in Rome: where to go
Costume parties, horror shows and theme parks, with the address, the time and how much it costs to get in. Everything that happens, on one page.
On October 31st Rome becomes a city of monsters: horror-themed parties at top clubs, events with mandatory dress code, cocktail bars with special menus and dance nights till dawn. We selected the clubs hosting the best parties and the venues for a pre-party with themed drinks.
Every night out, with the price
At Halloween you almost always pay at the door: very few nights sell tickets online, so it pays to arrive early. Prices are the ones the venue states.
The costume is not required, but almost.Roman clubs will let you in without one. At a themed party, though, you end up being the only person in normal clothes.

Three things worth knowing before you go out, that nobody writes down anywhere.
The unwritten rules of the night
- The costume: nearly always encouraged, rarely required
- Roman clubs will let you in without one, but at a themed party you feel out of place. Where it is genuinely required we have marked it on the night itself.
- You pay at the door, not online
- Almost no night sells tickets in advance: you pay at the door, between 10 and 50 euros, often with a drink included. Bring cash - not every door has a card reader.
- Guest lists close early
- Venues in the centre fill up by midnight. If you are heading to a castle or a villa outside town, work out how you get back first: taxis are hard to find at that hour.
